Meet Dr. K

At the heart of Butterfly Evolutions is the leadership and vision of Dr. Kendra Michael, founder and CEO. Dr. Michael is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Maryland, and holds a Doctorate in School Psychology. With over 9 years of experience, Dr. Michael has supported children, families, and schools across a wide range of settings. Experience includes working in homes, classrooms, daycare centers, and community environments. Her background in both psychology and applied behavior analysis allows her to see the whole picture, blending research-based strategies with practical solutions that work in real life. Dr. Michael’s mission is rooted in a passion for helping others. She believes every child deserves individualized care and every family deserves support that is compassionate, collaborative, and meaningful. By integrating expertise across disciplines, she ensures that Butterfly Evolutions delivers the highest quality of care while fostering independence, confidence, and lasting progress.
